  1. Thanks, I translated topics. It looks not so difficult after all : )
  2. Hello, Is there any information in English on how to create scenarios? Lately it would be interesting to make long scenarios for certain routes, like train 079П Dnepropetrovsk - Kiev, 080К Kiev - Dnepropetrovsk, 102К Kiev - Kherson and so on. The routes is there, only need scenarios : ) It adds to realism to keep to timetable and events, instead of just randomly driving : ) Any help?
  3. Is there any plans to update 3D model of M62 and retro Chs4? Also how is work going with route section Orsha-Minsk?
  4. Hello, I have seen on Russian parts of forum (my Russian not the best anymore), and I can see there is talks about new graphic engine for ZDSimulator. That there is plans, just not right now. I would like to ask if it's possible in the next 1-2 years ZDSimulator will have new engine? Current one is old, and with antialiasing FPS is very bad. If there is such plans I would be willing to buy the game again, or help funding the development.
  5. Hello team, I noticed now VL85 is in development. Good choice, very strong engine! I want to ask, is there any information when this locomotive will be released or when next version ZDSimulator will be available? Also, will VL85 include Klub-U? P.S, If posibility new routes/locomotives available to donate by paypal (instead of only CIS payment systems), I would donate to speed up development. Problem is that here in Bulgaria CIS payment do not support. Have a good day!
  6. Here signalling instructions for railways, grammatical error and bad translation might be. Also lack of information present like explanations of entrance and exit signals, along with no explanation of blocks. May release a second better version but because too busy with work will take some time. If anybody want to correct mistakes or add information please do Microsoft Word version: https://yadi.sk/i/ZWz_BzHjepHZh PDF version: https://yadi.sk/i/g-j9hBLOepHaY
  7. I have been working on a document about the signals system, what they mean, procedures and signal lights from the ALSN. But because of real life delayed until at least next week. If somebody else wants to try, please do! KS-11 better not to mess with... leave it be
  8. If you mean about my handling of brakes in the tutorial, it was wrong since I was focusing on the KLUB-U. The way I started moving wasn't meant for anything to take example of and would possibly damage the locomotive (at least a Bulgarian locomotive would) Vnimanie means caution, what you hear is probably "vperedi platforma", vperedi stansija", "vperedi putenprovod" means you are getting warnings from the things ahead of you, such as crossings, platforms, stations, bridges etc... An easy way for you to learn them is listen to the word, and look at anything significant at or by the tracks in the coming seconds at high speed. It might also warn you of yellow or red lights but this is rare and only for some particular scenarios. I have noticed I get a bonus point if I whistle whenever a crossing, platform or station comes up. These aside, the harder to understand is the commands you hear on the radio, occasionally you might be warned to stop at a certain location or must wait for a particular train to pass, which could either end up in you entering another track too early resulting in an AI train that goes right trough you or confused why a light in front of you is closed for extended periods of time... P.S, Have you noticed any difference between the texture compression on or off? It must be my eyes... because when I take screenshots it looks identical when comparing, only the texture compression gives almost double FPS.
  9. It is unfortunately static, whether it's in the plans to make it usable I do not know. The digits you see in the display are part of a cab repaint, Chs4T number 303... You can find in the downloads section of the Russian site. I'm still working on the signals and boards guide in English, delayed a bit because of real life but so far has been a success.
  10. aha, I was wondering, because I read on an old page here: http://zdsimulator.eu/news?start=3 that the ER9E EMU was in the priority development plans of 2013. Or this project became ED4M? Nevertheless, I am happy with the locomotives we have.
  11. Thank you for the information, it is more logical. Is there any posibility in the future to build or crowdfund for a new elektrichka to ZDSimulator? We have many locomotives, only one elektrichka
  12. Hello! Is it possible to change the 3DS max model, of let's say the ED4M to convert to ER2? Sounds can be changed easily to the ER2, maybe their performance is the same, I'm not a real elektrichka driver so I don't know ER2 is very cool futuristic design. There is open source trainz 3D model already that can be used. Same could be done with classic Chs4, if new model is not in development by your team. http://hostthenpost.org/uploads/d8544099bf14b3becdde6ba235ad89be.jpg
  13. I am aware, it's why I prefer to use the KLUB-U so that I can drive without having to find the profiles to memorize in my head. However some locomotives like VL11, classic Chs4 uses only the traditional speedmeter meaning that you have to memorize the speeds for the route.
  14. Hey! I have made video on how to use the KLUB-U device in the professional mode. I hope it will help. Later will be maybe a description of the signals and boards in use by the Ukrainian railways and locomotive startup guides. Is there anything else needed? I hope to make the simulator at least enough information in English so that foreigners can drive without trouble. I speak so far only little Russian and I have no problems! Excuse the bad graphics, something went wrong when converting video. Next will be better. Further videos or documents will be posted in this thread, if anyone else have, please post.
  15. About routes, I have one idea for you. I think you should allow also foreigners to help pay for routes and locomotives to your paypal. In the Russian version of the website, it uses CIS payment systems and also majority of Europeans do not know Cyrillic or Russian language. You could add options to "http://zdsimulator.eu" a page where users can pay for routes and locomotives to speed up funding. Also I think your simulator will be more popular if you add a section to http://zdsimulator.eu for downloading addons, including the ones posted here. Routes, repaints do not need translating, all we need to translate is the scenarios and I can try to translate the scenarios if it helps. You are right about training videos on youtube. From youtube today you can get audience and customers, in this century everything is about social media. Facebook, twitter, VK, youtube, simulation forums... If you mean if I can do training videos on youtube then yes I can do. It's not the first time I have done training video on youtube, here is old video I did with Tupolev Tu-154M addon for Microsoft Flight Simulator:
  16. First question, I assume maybe the same kind of funding can be done to make a route Helsinki - Petersburg? This route is very interesting and my favorite in real life, covers both Finnish and Russian operations. Today train in used is called "Allegro" and is owned 50-50% by RZD and VR. The route is not that long, maybe 400 km. But the problem is Finnish railway is different and another locomotive will have to be designed for the finnish section making the project very expensive I guess. Second question, I know I was told a new game engine is not planned, but I saw topic on Russian here that a new game engine would be possible, if somehow we gathered thousands of dollars on kickstarter or similar to pay for it?: http://forum.zdsimulator.com.ua/index.php?showtopic=1494 Third question, what is the development plan for simulator after version 52.004? Maybe new 3D models for old locomotives such as Chs4 and M62? Also the wagons do not follow each other very well in turns and switches, maybe this can be improved? ZDSimulator have improved a lot over the years, and the graphics are actually not bad, I think the simulator would be very popular with foreigners if only they knew about it and there was material in English to use the professional mode. I'm not asking for a full translation of the locomotive documents, just maybe some explanation of the startup and possibilities you can do if your locomotive breaks down.
  17. Hello! As I have found out, some versions of the locomotive have KLUB-U installed while others have the more traditional speedmeter. Chs8 for example has different numbers different versions. I want to ask: Which locomotive numbers have KLUB-U installed and which numbers do not? 1. Chs4KVR (ЧС-4квр) 2. VL-11M (ВЛ11м) 3. M62 4. Chs4 (classic) 5. VL82M (ВЛ82м) 6. VL80T (ВЛ80Т) 7. 2TE10U Also, when driving locomotive with KLUB-U installed you must still memorize the speedlimits for the route?
  18. Will be interesting to see what future routes will be. I downloaded the Route SDK and play around with different settings to get use to it, it seems not that difficult. Also it uses 3DS max models you make and import to map_editor? Also is it possible to design new 3D model for passenger vagons and use it in the simulator?
  19. Change your system locale to Cyryllic. It helps a lot of Russian software and other eastern european programs using the cyryllic script
  20. aha, so basically if someone or a railway company sponsors a certain route they will pay for the majority of construction? I'm thinking of building a route in Bulgaria, Sofia - Mezdra - Pleven - Gorna Orjakhovista - Ruse... It's a long route and would build in segments. If I gather the profile for tracks could be possible, Bulgarian railway is very slow speeds. The route is a section of Sofia-Kiev. But Bulgarian railway is completely different from Russian/Ukrainian/Belarusian and making a suitable electric locomotive could be a problem or M62 with BDZ paint could be used
  21. Hello, a quick question, but as I see funding for this route in Ukraina direction is much faster than the others (Moskva-Minsk, Kiev-Dnepropetrovsk) I want to know if perhaps that route is in fact "Moscow-Kiev" (Moscow-Sukhinichi) plans to extend to Bryansk and Konotop? There is route Kiev - Konotop already... Would be interesting to drive Moscow - Kiev, just curious : ))
  22. Same game engine or replacement will be? I believe with a new one a lot of more features can be added with better graphics. But the main reason I use simulator is because it's more realistic. Trainz and railworks are toys.
